Virtual Author Event - Sara Rauch and Michael Wheaton!

Join us Tuesday, June 21st, at 6:30 CDT (7:30 EDT) for a virtual author event with Sara Rauch, author of XO, and Michael Wheaton, publisher of Autofocus! Click here to join the Zoom webinar:

About Sara Rauch:

Sara Rauch is the author of What Shines from It: Stories, which won the Electric Book Award. Her prose has appeared in Paranoid Tree, Autofocus, Paper Darts, Hobart, Split Lip, So to Speak, and elsewhere. She lives in Massachusetts with her family.

About XO:

Sara Rauch is in a long-term, committed relationship with another woman when she begins a low-residency MFA in fiction. Though it goes against the promises she’s made, she finds herself pulled into an intense affair with a married man, a well-known writer in the program. More than an essay about bisexual infidelity and the resulting heartbreaks, XO unfolds Rauch’s story like a map of psychic terrain, allowing the author to explore her longstanding obsessions with romantic love, personal faith and belief systems, and the stories we tell ourselves to get through our ever-changing lives.

About Michael Wheaton:

Michael Wheaton is the publisher of Autofocus and host of its podcast The Lives of Writers. His writing has appeared in Diagram, Hobart, Burrow Press Review, Bending Genres, Variant Lit, and other online journals. Find more at or on Twitter: @wheaton3000.
